After several months of besieging Tobruk, Rommel was still unable to take the port. Meanwhile, 8th Army had plans of its own. On November 18th, the British launched Operation Crusader with the intent of relieving the Tobruk garrison, and the next day saw an armored clash near the Sidi Rezegh airfield.
Objectives: Your squadron continues to act as an advance guard, the individual troops now deployed along a wide front. Your troop is tasked with holding its ground until relieved. Keep the objective area clear of any counterattacking enemy.
